When purchasing a PlayStation3, there are several options when it comes to choosing a hard drive. 20, 40, 60 or 80GB of storage space are available. Though, as a rule, even when the largest hard drive is purchased, most gamers will eventually run out of space if they are the type who loves to download games and trailers.

When this, the inevitable, happens there is no need to special order a larger drive. Conveniently, almost any hard drive, purchased at an electronics store, will do the trick. Simply swap it out and you’re good to go.

Either a typical 2.5 inch internal drive (250GB) or an external USB drive (500GB) will work well and will allow gamers to download even MORE music and MORE videos, than ever before.
