I found this video on the internet that compares the video quality of PS3 on HDTV and also on normal TV so that you can differentiate between the two of them. It’s a bit slow (the sound), so, I can’t really hear it. It is probably my laptop. Anyway, hope this helps!
But not in the near future. Probably after 2010. Why? Because PS3 is already too awesome but they didn’t really sell many units compared with Wii. Why such low market rate? The price. Who wants to spend more than $400 for a video game console? Less than 0.1% of population.
The 40 GB version of PS3 has been launched below the $400 level (which is $399) but probably not many people are as interested in it as the 60GB version since some hardware has been pulled out to reduce the cost. In the 40GB version, instead of a hardware to play PS2 and PS1 games, they use a software simulator, which is much cheaper.
Luckily I have gotten the 60GB version for my boyfriend. That’s the most awesome version of Playstation 3. When it has been pulled apart they made an estimation of more than $1000 to make that console itself and it is sold at $599. Sony lost a lot of money.

When purchasing a PlayStation3, there are several options when it comes to choosing a hard drive. 20, 40, 60 or 80GB of storage space are available. Though, as a rule, even when the largest hard drive is purchased, most gamers will eventually run out of space if they are the type who loves to download games and trailers.
When this, the inevitable, happens there is no need to special order a larger drive.Conveniently, almost any hard drive, purchased at an electronics store, will do the trick.Simply swap it out and you’re good to go.
Either a typical 2.5 inch internal drive (250GB) or an external USB drive (500GB) will work well and will allow gamers to download even MORE music and MORE videos, than ever before.
